Mr. Wilwerding graduated Cum Laude from Creighton University, earning his BSBA degree with a concentration in Finance. Prior to joining McCarthy Group Advisors in 2006, Nick was employed with Mutual of Omaha where he was a member of the investment team specializing in structured securities. While there, Nick was responsible for performing security specific research and presenting analysis on investment candidates as well as monitoring performance of holdings. Nick maintains current registrations for the Series 65 (Investment Advisor Representative), Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent). He also earned his designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in 2009 and is a member of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Wilwerding joined Westwood in 2010 as part of the acquisition of McCarthy Group Advisors.
